Overview

Reach enables customers to take control over their personal data and receive compensation for sharing it directly with brands they approve. Customers determine the brands they want to engage with, the personal data shared, and how actively they engage with each. All personal data is shared proactively by the customer on a Zero-Party Plus basis. The data is then shared directly and confidentially with approved brands. Those brands are then able to use the data shared for any application within the brand without the need for additional permission.

Customers are paid with Reach Dollars (Reach$), that they can spend instead of cash with any brand in the app with the free Reach Visa Debit Card that everyone receives upon enrollment.

The Problem

Currently, after a user creates and verifies their account, they are prompted to immediately connect their bank account and turn on notifications before they are able to explore the app and fully understand what the app is and the opportunities they can do.

How do we get users to share their information and explore the app?

Task Flows

Before designing low-fidelity wireframes, I identified the main flow where the user would complete a task through individual steps.

Prototype One

The prototype showcases the best case scenario where a user connects to their bank account and turns on notifications by opening the Locked brand opportunity.

Prototype Two

Another scenario would be where a user can view and explore the app without committing to sharing their bank account information and turning on their notifications. They are able to access different opportunities where they can earn Reach Dollars, however, they will not be able to activate their Visa Reward Card and spend until they provide more information.

Next Steps

Usability Testing
Get user feedback from prototypes on and how to get more users into the app to participate in opportunities and spend with brands.

Revisions
Make iterations based on usability testing findings.

Hand Off
Discuss with developers to get an idea of project timeline to get the new flow and feature live within the app.
